Fondation Cascada has been supporting small community-based organizations that provide essential nutrition and educational support to some of Colombia's neediest children.
By providing young people with the opportunity to grow up in a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment, they will help their families and communities develop a better future in a dignified and sustainable way.
Cascada was founded in 2003 by a group of Colombian and Canadian friends and is run entirely by volunteers, such that all donations go directly to financing projects.

Fundación Fiambre operates in a severely impoverished neighborhood on the outskirts of Bogotá. It runs a community kitchen that feeds 300 children and 50 senior citizens daily in a caring and affectionate environment. Fiambre offers children and their families the security of knowing they will receive a nutritious lunch every day. For some, it will be the only meal they have.
For the seniors, Fiambre not only provides critically needed nutrition, but also a way to connect with others and break social isolation.
The work of Fundacion Fiambre inspired the creation of Fondation Cascada in 2003.
With proper nutrition, children can grow, develop and thrive to their full potential.

Fundación Sentir Vida is a grassroots organization that works to improve the living conditions of a community located on the outskirts of Barranquilla. Fondation Cascada helped Fundación Sentir Vida start a meal program for 200 children.
Fundación Buenos Aires operates a community centre that serves meals to children and the elderly in Barrio Buenos Aires, south of Bogotá. Fondation Cascada helped fund the construction of the community center, completed in 2008.
Coprogreso served children and families in San Cristóbal, north of Bogotá. Fondation Cascada contributed to the operation of its day-care center for 250 children. The organization had to close for economic reasons.
